Change Matters – Change Management

The different thing about this training is that it focuses on personal reactions and emotions and what it actually feels like during a workplace change or a personal change. The goal of this one-day program is to help you take responsibility for how you react and respond to a change by giving you a set of tools and techniques of self-awareness and assessment to light up the curves and sometimes bumpy ride on your road to change.

Communicating Effectively

This energetic and interactive training program focuses on the most essential communication skills needed for the challenging and competitive working environment of today. From active listening to properly utilising the power of questions and using language that engages others. Participants will learn a communication model that will enable them to communicate more clearly, confidently, and effectively, build better rapport and improve their overall communication with others.

Objectives:

By the end of this training participants will be able to:

  • Explain 4 essential communication principles
  • Communicate more clearly, confidently and effectively.
  • Listen and ask insightful questions & utilise the power of questions.
  • Use techniques to build better rapport with others.
  • Combine voice tone and non-verbal communication with appropriate language that engages others.

 

 

Presenting with Impact

Standing up and reciting information while others passively listen and perhaps take notes is the common traditional presentation style that does not really work to teach, inspire, or motivate an audience. Times have changed. If the only purpose of your presentation is to transfer information, you are better off distributing it in a handout or by email and cancelling the event.

An effective presentation aims to change the audience and get them to think or act differently by truly engaging them with a clear focused message, logical arguments and compelling visuals combined with a passionate delivery that evokes emotions.

This two-day program will provide a guiding framework to how to design, build and deliver compelling high impact presentations by following simple innovative design concepts from the initial design stage and creating the structure of the presentation to researching and building impeccable slides and visuals as well as ensuring a confident, passionate and professional live delivery.

Time & Self-Management Skills

No matter who you are, we all have 168 hours each week. Your ability to best utilise those 168 hours will ultimately determine your success. Using self-discovery, hands-on activities and innovative concepts, throughout this high energy training program, participants will learn how to get better control of their time and their life in general. From setting achievable life and work-related goals to learning how to more efficiently and effectively control their time and resources. The program also stresses on the importance of planning and prioritising, dealing with and controlling interruptions, setting boundaries and managing stress.

  • Recognise personal strengths and weaknesses in how they manage their time.
  • Better organise themselves and their workspace for better efficiency.
  • Take control of their time and make improvements to their work habits.
  • Set goals and learn proper planning steps and methods.
  • Identify time bandits, assess priorities, and handle time-related stress.
  • Learn and practice the proper steps of delegation.
